Welcome to Brainlab.
Where Innovation Meets Technology. Powered by Artificial Technology.

We are seeking talented and innovative individuals to join our team in the development of a groundbreaking project: the design and construction of a scalable quantum computer based on photonics. This project aims to leverage the principles of quantum mechanics to build a high-performance computing platform housed in vacuum chambers at room temperature. The ultimate goal is to achieve the functionality of logical gates using photon-based quantum computing architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop theoretical models and algorithms for photon-based quantum computing.
  • Utilize advanced mathematical techniques to analyze the behavior of quantum systems and optimize computational algorithms.
  • Design and implement experimental setups for photon-based quantum computing, including the development of optical components and control systems.
  • Work on the integration of hardware components with software interfaces for quantum information processing.
  • Conduct experiments to characterize and validate the performance of quantum computing prototypes, utilizing techniques such as quantum state tomography and entanglement generation.
  • Develop error correction protocols and fault-tolerant schemes to improve the reliability and scalability of photon-based quantum computing systems.
  • Collaborate with industrial engineers to design scalable manufacturing processes for quantum computing hardware components.
  • Document all design specifications, experimental procedures, and results in technical reports and publications.

  • A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Scholarship last year also welcomed if very motivated on the matter
  • Strong theoretical background in quantum mechanics, quantum information theory, and computational mathematics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB for numerical simulations and algorithm development.
  • Experience with experimental physics, particularly in optics, quantum optics, or photonics.
  • Knowledge of hardware design principles and experience with electronic instrumentation and control systems.
  • Familiarity with quantum computing concepts, such as qubits, quantum gates, and quantum algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
